Thank you for Beeing a Friend!
Like a Garden Trellis, You're Our Support!
We have several people to thank as they have supported us when we only had a 3rd floor apartment building hallway to call "The Yarden".
Very often, the struggles, failures, and hard work of a "successful" garden are hidden from view, especially when you are just starting out in the hobby. I can assure you that it's really important to go through the learning process, it builds resilience and confidence in the gardener... when things go sideways, you can try again tomorrow. It's nature's way.
Over the past decade or so, our friends and colleagues have provided us with plants, garden knowledge, and encouragement. Their expertise and friendship have proven invaluable to our yarden success today. In fact, its shaping all of the creative work that we do in our Yarden on a daily basis. They are the very definition of what it means to be a part of a growing community as we fuel our passion for plants together.
Thank you.
We are truly grateful,
Christine & Jake, The Yardeners

Doug Ewing explains in detail the reproductive cycle of the agave to Evan Sugden and Christine (Yardner) at the old "New Botany Greenhouse" at University of Washington, Seattle, WA. circa 2013.
A news story in UW Today lead to minor social media fame years later. Very minor. I enjoy the memes.
